MID WEST TONES - A sustainable garments and goods company that specializes in fashion, jewelry, and home goods
I am OBSESSED with this brand! (I literally just bought a jumpsuit today.) This top is fantastic and it comes in lots of colors. I love their sizing because you don’t have to know exactly what size a person is to be able to buy them something.
Small / Medium - sizes 0-8
Large / Extra Large - 10-16
Bonus - You can also try-on and pickup their products at LADYCO or at popups in Kansas City and beyond. They sell jumpsuits, dresses, tops and cardigans.
I was lucky enough to meet the owner, Bridget (pictured above), at my Amy Stewart Public Relations launch party. She is just as lovely as the products she designs.

Art
Kellie Bloxsom - Art and Design
Kellie is a longtime friend and a designer for Hallmark. I’ve always loved her work and admired her passion for continuing to evolve as an artist over the years.
Kellie offers collections (like the one above), individual prints, and original art - all at very affordable prices. If you want a modern and unique piece, she’s got you covered. She even has artwork for kids and nurseries and will do custom pieces. I’m a little bias, but the Olalla Collection (that she created for my daughter) is my favorite.

Archival Designs - Custom ceramic tile and pottery
Let me just say, everyone needs a hand-thrown mug. Even if the designs are similar, no two are exactly alike. And seriously, who doesn’t need another mug?
Okay, okay, if you’re thinking, “but they already have 1,000 mugs.” Don’t worry, they have LOTS of other options like spoon rests, pie plates, microwave egg bakers, noodle bowls, vases, platters, and so much more all at very affordable prices.
If you’re in Kansas City, you can find them at their shop (31st and Charlotte) or at Made In Kansas City stores on The Plaza, Lee’s Summit and Lenexa.

Guided Journal
The Possibility Project: A guided journal for creating what’s possible
This book got me started on launching my business earlier this year. It’s authored by my sister-in-law, Erin Cummings, and it’s a great gift for anyone trying to figure out what’s next (big or small). I think this is a great gift for moms, friends, business owners, co-workers, really anyone who’s looking to create what’s possible for themselves.
You can find The Possibility Project on Amazon, Target, Barnes & Noble or your local bookstore.
